Local Shipping (British Isles):
Most of our orders within the lands of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are now shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, Hermes or if lighter will ship in regular mail. The delivery to the British Isles is available as 2 or 3 day service (subject to stock) and there is a reliable tracking service should there be a problem. This does still depend upon weight.
Parcels weighing over 1kg in weight will automatically be sent using nextday service unless otherwise specified. Most orders placed before 2PM will usually be despatched within 2 days. Orders placed late Friday afternoon or on a weekend, will not be sent until the following Tuesday.
All Courier parcels are insured for £10 per kilo by default, but additional Insurance cover is available for more vaulable packages at a cost of £3 / £1000 value. This should be requested on the order by requesting insurance in Checkout comments box. This cover does not protect against consequential or commercial loss but does cover against damage or parcel misplacements. Thankfully, a VERY rare occurrance.
A Saturday delivery (British Isles) is available but at extra £20.00, please indicate this in the comments section of the checkout form and we will advise you of the additional cost by phone or email.
We use Special Delivery for Northern Ireland and Royal Mail for the Irish Republic, and deliveries will take longer (3 – 4 days).
All Prices will not be added with Tax
Prices shown are what you actually pay as we do not charge tax, this applies to all countries. Countries OUTSIDE of the British Isles may incur local customs and excise charges upon delivery.
The standard delivery is for packages weighing up to 10kg, bear in mind that a Comfort CPU or SEP will weigh 5kg alone and a 100m roll of cable 4kg! Heavier packages are charged additionally pro-rata/kg. You can track your delivery by clicking the ‘Tracking’ link. Insurance (loss & damage except consequential) is available only for UK orders at an additional cost.
Warranty and Returns Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase, we guarantee all the items we sell for a period of 12 months from sale against defect and failure to perform. Items which do fail to perform within the warranty period, will at our discretion, be repaired or replaced free of charge.
Within 30 days
If within 30 days you are not happy with the item and have received technical assistance and the problem persists, then dependent on the analysis, you can choose to have either replace the item or provide a refund (except for original delivery charges).
If the part is wrongly ordered and you are returning it, please ensure that you return it in the original packaging, and that it is in a re-sellable condition. We will refund you the cost within 2 days of receiving your item back. Items MUST be returned in the condition they were sold in.
After 30 days and Specially Ordered Products
If you are returning an item which is not faulty, after 30 days of purchase or are returning stock which has been specially ordered on your behalf (not normally in our product catalogue), then we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee of 30% which will be subtracted from your refund or credit note upon receipt of the goods. Delivery charges cannot be refunded. Items MUST be returned in the condition they were sold in. Unused goods older than 3-months cannot be returned for a credit.
If we are unable to ship all the goods due to an item being out of stock, we will ship the short items free of charge once they have arrived in stock.
UPS Air freight is used for international shipments. Allow a few days for delivery. Contact us for large order, etc.
Please Note: These rates are for most items. We reserve the right to adjust charges to reflect the additional cost of shipping items of greater than average weight (such as bulk orders).

Customs forms for all international packages list the value of your order’s contents as well as a description of the items. Comfort and security equipment are classified as commodities code 8473290000 (Electronic Assemblies). Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.
