If additional keypads are installed, they can act as intercoms. By pressing F key followed by 8. you can start talking to all the other intercoms on the premises.

A red MIC light on the keypad will illuminate to indicate that the microphone is turned on, i.e. in Talk Mode. When anyone presses any key on another keypad, all other keypads are switched off. This operation is designed to protect privacy as nobody can turn on another keypad to listen-in without someone else knowing.
