the lived-in look To Home Page

Homes are often burgled while the property is obviously unnoccupied, so doesn't it make sense to make your house look like there is someone living there even when there isn't?

Comfort can help by simulating the appearance of an occupied home by switching lights and closing curtains and even operating the TV or radio . Comfort's Holiday Mode does this using random control within a one hour time window to achieve a realistic effect.

deter prowlers
Another Comfort function is to deter prowlers should they come close to the property.

The system can detect movement in the rear garden or yard and then switch lights on in a sequence, for example, first the outside light switches on, then the bedroom, then 5 seconds later, the landing, then the hall to give the appearance of someone in the house getting up to investigate. Comfort can also dial-out silently and alert you.
