The Yahoo groups forums exist for the information, discussion, development and support of Comfort users, installers and those considering Comfort Integrated Control System for their security, communication and building automation needs.

You don't have to be a user of Comfort to participate in the groups. You can use the group as a means of assessing if Comfort is the right system for you, try our general or technical group. Our members are quite obliging people and if they can't help with a particular enquiry, then we will post a response.

If you encounter problems, please send an email to Technical Support.

After all, Comfort is a security product which many Comfort users depend upon for their protection and so MUST be safeguarded as much as possible.

If it doesn't work, please let us know your original email address so we may try and trace it in the list.

Are Comfort Yahoo group messages getting in the way of your other mail?

Are you thinking of unsubscribing as a result? Rather than unsubscribe, why not use the mail management tools in Outlook Express or the Yahoo groups service? You have 2 useful options:

1. Set-up Outlook Express to move all comfort messages into a single local folder automatically.

2. Set-up your Yahoo groups profile to send you a digest of the days messages in a single email or Set-up you Yahoo groups profile so that instead of receiving email, you view the messages on using your browser instead.

3. The 'Unsubscription' method is on the bottom of every message.

See below for an explanation of how to select these options.
******************************************************
1. Set-up Outlook Express to move all comfort messages into a single local folder automatically.

In Outlook Express select: Tools/Message Rules/Mail.

In the Window select (check)
'Condition' 'Where the subject line contains specific words'

'Action' 'Move it to a specified folder' In the last screen click the 'contains' link and then enter the word 'comfort' into the popup box, then ok.

click the 'specified' link that is in the window and then create a new folder for the messages to be kept. click the 'new folder' in the right hand margin, highlight 'Local folders' and enter the name of the new folder eg: comfort Yahoo groups. click ok.

Using this method, you could separate the mail into different folders based on the subject line, eg: comfort goes into 'comfort' general folder, 'comfort-technical' goes into 'comfort technical' folder etc.

2. Set-up your Yahoo groups profile to send you a digest of the days messages in a single email or Set-up you Yahoo groups profile so that instead of receiving email, you view the messages on using your browser instead.
