Comfort now has support for linking-up with the popular Honeywell Smartfit Heating
Control system. This work has integrated degrees of interventional temperature
control, adjustment via Comfort locally or remotely. Companion touchscreens also
support Smartfit.
Note: This is primarily a single zone system but may provide multi-zoning by combining smartfit systems together, please ask for details.
We now provide the ability to:
1. Switch heat on or off, overriding an existing program for an indefinate or predetermined time.
2. Alter the set-point of Heating and Hot Water, used for remote control or occupancy
mode related temp requirements.
This may also be used to link ON periods to occupancy as determined by the security
modes: Home, Night, Away, Holiday.
3. Interrogate the current Hot Water and Heating temp and Set-points and output
it as a voice message when dialling in remotely by telephone using the Home Control
Menu or via the internet using
[Companion
Sidekick Server].
4. Initiate a dialout upon detection of minimum temp setting, ie frost.

What is the format?
A special Smartfit UCM01 (UCMSFIT) version PCB is mounted within an optional Unibox
enclosure.
The UCM connects to Comfort via the Usual RS485 (KA,KB,12v,ov) and the Honeywell
Base Unit
(AUX Socket) connects a socket on the UCM via a 6 core RJ12 cable. The UCMSFIT
PCB can
mount within the Unibox and should be sited near to the Honeywell Base Unit.
